It's one of those things you kind of work at over time. Should have seen the glass on my last build lol. Looked like wavy pasta noodles. Amart88 Posted July 18, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2013 Fished glassing today, thank god. Got it all sanded and started on body filler. Man. Sanding all that shit down was a bitch. Even after a long shower I'm itchin' all over. Started body filler. Started sanding. Sanded Heres tomorrows job. Annnd, I noticed my 2x4's were slightly "twisting" even though they are supposedly "kiln dried". What a load of turd. Got me paranoid. I just sealed all the ends with PL premium to try and slow the shit. The bottom one on the other side started to peel a layer of mdf from the corner where the PL was holding. Yep spent most of the day with ear muffs, face mask and goggles on laying on my back with that damn sander. lol. Neighbors likely thought I was nuts. Now I gotta finish body filling. TBH I really don't mind doing filler. I somewhat enjoy spreading it. Results you can see.\ OH also. That napa resin turned out to be shitty-ish. The small peice I tested was still tacky this morning so I said fug that and got another can of bondo to finish up. the funny thing is that I got some mixing cups from napa this morning and they were Evercoat.... but napa don't have any of their fillers or shit. wow.
