It looks like an HDR photo with some sort of filter, from either Lightroom or #instagay, added on top. Lots of newer phones with burst framerate cameras can do in-phone HDR. Here is an example taken with my HTC DNA: http://s21.postimg.org/keptipsd3/20130216_IMAG0202.jpg .

A quick filter preset applied in Lightroom gave me this: http://s22.postimg.org/wnk2upae9/20130216_IMAG0202_2.jpg .

The same filter effects can easily be achieved with #instagay. The key is to start with a nice HDR photo, then add the filter on top. Obviously, if you have a nice camera, you can make some absolutely stunning HDR photos. Check this guy's work out: http://www.flickr.com/photos/neilarmstrong2/ . If you are interested in shooting HDR, I believe Neil Kremer to be the benchmark for absolutely stunning work.

It's most definitely is not, but if you want to achieve consistent results, you should understand the technical basics of exposure: ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. For beginners who would like to take their photography to the next level, there is no better book to read than Understanding Exposure.

Well I mean if you have never used IG how do you know what its all about, there is truth of course to what you say but I follow music artists and have it connected to my FB and choose to follow friends and see pictures they take and post.

I bet if Steve or w/e audio company you liked had an IG and was posting pictures of their new subs or w/e it may be related to car audio yall would jump on that shit liking every single picture LMFAO. It's just social media, nothing more nothing less.
