I was thinking knowing the shop they weren't worried about or have no knowledge of what tuning that box has.

And I have seen that splice "technique" before a few times, but never on power wire of that size, does the shop owner happen to ride the short bus to work too?

Well, here was the only ground for the optima batts they had back there,

I grinded everything down and re-ran a ground there off the first battery, that is on an impact zone so the metal is very thick, no concerns groundin on batt there, the last batt in line will go to my "ground distribution center" which will be pictured soon, i gotta go get more solder and shit

Batts getting all wired up, dont worry it will be cleaned up when everything is done, i have to get a longer screw for the top of the post on the power terminal there, thats why there is a fuse block empty, also need to order 2 more fuse blocks,
