Last night I did all the calculations for the new ring and I'll most likely grill it after looking at the way it'll stick out a little more than last time

So yesterday and a little bit of today, I was finally able to put some work into my door panels... So far so good

I'll show ya'll the pics and explain how everything is gonna work this time around!

And here she is!! The end result!! One down, one to go!!

I'll be layering it with another 3/4" piece of MDF so that it is more rigid.. also with a height of 1" total, I'll be able to mount the ring directly to the panel without needing dowels to prop it up for clearance, which means I can Glue AND Screw the ring to the panel for the ultimate mount!! Also I made up my mind and will be planning to make speaker grills this time around!! Should come out pretty nice!! I'm excited for these plans to come to life!!

Thanks bro!! I definitely plan to make this my best work!! Last set of doors were nice, but they had cosmetic flaws.. I'm going to make sure these babies are on point!!

We'll I was doing some tuning before I uninstalled because I thought everything would be in the spare.. come to find out, the tweets were just blended that well where it wasn't ear piercing... Also another set of tweeters do come with the HSK130s, so all tweeter holes on the a pillar will be filled!! I'm basically gonna bridge the 2 sets of hsk165s on 2 channels and on the other two channels just run the HSK130 mids .. I'll set the crossvers and gains at the amp to blend the vocal range (perks of ampere amps )
