So I did a little update/ mod to my car.... wasn't nothing expensive or nothing BUT it made a HUGE difference!!!! I've been procrastinating on doing it for the longest and finally got it done

Here's How it turned out!!!

Just a little debadging

For those that dont know, Its a very simple process.... My paint hasn't faded or been weathered considering its fairly new... only being 3yrs old

For tools, All you need is:

heat gun (or wifes, gf's, little sister's blow dryer)

3m adhesive remover

Microfiber Towels

Dental floss or fishing line

Gloves

VERY Simple process... heat the badges but never keep the heat too close to the paint, or put the heat too close to the car (or it will mess it up)...

Once you heat the badges, try to wiggle them , if you can feel it wiggle, you can grab the dental floss and pull it behind the badges... keep the floss or fishing line closer to the car.

After you take all the badges off, spray the 3m adhesive remover on the remaining adhesive... I actually took my microfiber towel, and peeled off the adhesive with my thumb nail (like trying to take a sticker off)

After You get all the adhesive off, Wipe the surface down with a clean microfiber towel soaked in soap and water and massage the area like you are waxing and it will lift the remaining of the outline off + remove the 3m adhesive chemical

Thanks man!! I appreciate it!!!! Because I was too cheap to buy a second set of lights I had to finish them in one weekend lol Took me from Midnight Saturday to 4am Monday!!! But thats because nissan seal altima headlights with permaseal.. so instead of taking 5min to back them open, it took 45min per light and a MINIMUM of 5-6hrs cleaning out the permaseal and replacing it with new butyl (that was my whole Sunday project smh)!! So hopefully when you do yours, they didn't "permanently" seal yours too! All in all, it was worth it... it DEFINITELY makes my car stand out a lot more.. and it feels more personal that I'm the only one with my lights and the fact that I made them You'll feel the same way too!!!!

Looking awesome man! You're gonna have to give me some info on the retrofit. How's the trunk build going? I think I'm gonna stick to the trunk on mine as well. But since you're one of the only ones with an alti similar to mine, do you think airspace for 4 15's would be an issue?

Lol I don't even see 2 15s going in our trunk! Just stick with 2 12s .. trust me, that's PLENTY! If you seen my 4cu ft box in the trunk, you will quickly realize 15s aren't even possible unless it's a single sub setup!
