Maybe the xs are different than the zv4s but i'd still say its all in the box. My zv4 15s peaked at 51hz when they were in a fourth and now in the 6th they do 150+ from 22-64hz...no high end missing whatsoever...

If you look at Jacobs post in the sundown section, he explains why people think the x and zv4 are lacking when it comes to upper sub-bass frequencies.

Yeah I'll take a look. I think your talking about the distortion of normal suspensions that were used to on the higher frequencies. Not sure but ill research it.

Personally I think X's for sure have no highs.... And zv4's have a much better potential to play highs.

But zv4's can do highs a little better. Also cost a arm and a leg more... Also need a fuck ton more power to move then SA's.

I vote SA's being pushed really hard or zv3's being under powered. (Yes they still will make you zv3's)

If I go back with the Sa's, I'm going Nendo BC2k ... I'm DEFINITLY not trying to pay zv4 cost lol

I saw his explination on caco (iirc) and he spoke of it being "distorted" ... and he also said he would offer a spl cone in the near future that will retain that sound ppl are used to if I'm correct? Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Not worth my pockets lol... I decided to just do, Fi SSD 12s on a Nendo 2k ... That should be an upgrade from my last system, So I'm sure I'll be satisfied Esp considering my last setup sounded pretty good for a daily driver!

LOL!!!!!!!!!! Best option for now bro... I'm going to begin rebuild in the fall! I'm trying to save up for some lowering springs and an alignment before Heatwave! Then I'm going to let me pockets take a break LOL... between my initial system, rims, drill slotted rotors, soon to be lowering springs and retrofit... I've spent WAY too much money this past year!!!!!

But I'm SO ready to get back on my audio shit, it's driving me nutz!!! But August/ September time frame, the fun will begin!!! She'll be ready For TD for sure!! ;p
