The free design threads are annoying, I will admit. But 99% of manufacturers give you the suggested box specs right there on the site. I dont get why people need a 3D sketchup and cut sheets. ALLLLLLL of the info is readily available.

4k for a sealed setup is just a waste, IMO. But it's just that... my opinion. There are also about 9 billion subs that are better suited to sealed than the two in the OP. Especially the HDC3 that will sound like ass in sealed. Sealed is an easy box to make, but it doesn't guarantee a better or more flat response.

I always heard the sa didn't like seal boxes but the sd-2 model are design for seal got 2 of the 10d4 shit hits the low damn good an its in a sealed box in a dakota single cab I would look in to them.

just get 2 dual 4 ohm wire it down for 1ohm and just do 1 amp each sa sub can handle 600rms but you can feed each about 800rms on clean power so just do 1 aq 2200 and get 2 sa 12d4 wire it to one ohm you should be good to go

oh my bad didn't read your getting 4 sa12 okay, get 4 sa 12d4 wire 2 of the for 1 ohm and hook to one of the amps and do the same for the other 2 subs wire it for 1ohm hook it to the other amp and strap them together, so both amp should read 1ohm to get the full power out of them, have you done anything to your car big 3,extra batterys, battery under the hood, alt.

ok. so I talked to the guy at sundown. I didn't get his name, whoever answer the tech line. he say the sa line is equally at home in a ported or sealed. he also stated that 3 15s sealed can be just as loud as the 4 12s ported. he said the difference wouldn't be noticeable. he also said the sa line can handle 800 rms all day. lastly he said not to use the audioque amps because they recently go subs back that were blown through these amps. he said they draw a weird current or something. can anyone back any of this up

poeple run the aq amps all day without any problems so idk the sa 12 can handle more because jacob told me the sd-2 10 that i got can handle 700rms each an their shallows "audioque amps because they recently go subs back that were blown through these amps" :huh2:
