Kade
Alright.. Most 4 channels only need the front RCAs because the rear can use the front too. For the rear outputs on the HU, I'd use that for the sub(s). What 4ch are you using. You probably won't even need splitters. I'm using a planet audio VX3004 at the moment. Sub is bridged on one half of the amp as of now. Going to get a dedicated sub amp or 5 channel when I get a chance 2009 Dodge Caliber SXT (Silver) Deck: Pioneer X3600BHS Amps: RF P1000X5 Front: RF P16-S Rear: RF P1694 Subs: 1 RF P3D2-10 Cabling: Stinger 6 channel RCA, RF 4gauge kit, SkyHighCarAudio 16gauge speaker wire. OrionStang
SO whats the problem? Until you get a dedicated sub amp, you don't need more rca's. You can run the door speakers on the front channels and switch the other to "sub". Can't really use the 5x7's until you get another amp. OrionStang
I thought your sub was bridged on two of the channels. Are you leaving the sub out of the mix for now? SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Kade
I thought your sub was bridged on two of the channels. Are you leaving the sub out of the mix for now? It is right now, but I want it on it's own amp. Probably getting a cheap pawn shop amp after I hook up my door speakers to the 4 channel. Taking four channels down to two..depends if y'ing at deck or at amp I'm spliting at the amp. Less wires to run. So yea, I need 2 male 1 female splitter. Another question. I have these... http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_19558_Rockford-Fosgate-Punch-P152.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_19561_Rockford-Fosgate-Punch-P1572.html They have differenet RMS ratings. Do I need an amp that matches the lower RMS of the 2 to prevent damage to the speakers? Or could I take my current Planet Audio vx3004 and adjust the gain per speaker pair (per channel bank)? 2009 Dodge Caliber SXT (Silver) Deck: Pioneer X3600BHS Amps: RF P1000X5 Front: RF P16-S Rear: RF P1694 Subs: 1 RF P3D2-10 Cabling: Stinger 6 channel RCA, RF 4gauge kit, SkyHighCarAudio 16gauge speaker wire.
