gckless
Nice progress man. Looking good so far. Did you end up getting those seat bolts out? I still have the one floor torx on the drivers seat. I soaked that bitch in penetrating fluid for a week.Still so tight that it twisted a snap on torx bit. Needless to say I gave up and worked around it lol. Oh wow really? Mine all came out fairly easily. Had to get a T47 torx, but just got a Duralast bit, and a 12" ratchet, and they came right out. Can almost guarantee it's the difference in locations, if you're still up there. Snow and salt isn't easy on vehicles, trust me I know, I'm from Buffalo. It's probably rusted in there man. PB Blaster is normally damn good, but it's not undoing 10 years of rust lol. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. Heat is about the only thing that would have worked or drilling it out and re tapping. All the others were fine just that one lol. Probably did not help I only had a T50 which was not quite deep enough. But still. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.

T47 is kinda loose and sloppy in there, but the T50 isn't the right size either. T47 does fit better, but there's some play. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. gckless
Got my Vampire Wires RCA's. These will be used from HU to PAC LC-1: Took out the tape player and got this in: Haven't done a whole lot, due to the heat around here and being a bit busy. Waiting on cash flow too so I can get my rear batts, bus bars, and sub box wood. But I'm putting in the HU this weekend, so I'll be without music for a couple weeks. I'm ok with it, I want this shit done. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. gckless
So, work sent me out of town Saturday and Sunday. Real upset I missed Heatwave in Austin, but it is what it is. Didn't turn out horrible. Went to Cattleman's Steakhouse: Got this shirt free at the strip club Saturday night with the purchase of a private dance during some special hour they had going on: On to the vehicle. Installed my HU and ran the RCA's yesterday: So no music right now :/ Did my alternator and front battery today. Was a bit of a hassle putting it in, I needed a bigger belt than what was on there and didn't find out until I was trying to put it on. Had to put the old alt back in and run to Autozone. Here are some comparison pics: Engine bay before: Engine bay after: And did my Big 2 as well: I'm really proud of that ground. Got a little happy with the torch when I was doing the heatshrink and toasted the loom a little on the one end. Oh well. So, just waiting on cash. Rear batts and sub box is about what's left. Door panels still need work too, but I've kinda pushed those aside. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. gckless
And so it's begun, the part that anyone really cares about (which is sad lol): Was a bitch getting that wood up to my 3rd floor apartment in the 102 degree heat. Here's the design for reference: I do have a question here though. Would it be better to have separate chambers and leave that middle brace whole with no cutouts, or one combined chamber and cut out the windows? Got the basics assembled: Now I'm going to be cutting out all 4 baffles, then staining the outer 2 baffles. Should match the amp rack well. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now.
