Currently they have their 1200w amp for $270 with free shipping from ther website. What are the pros and cons (if any) of this amp? AqFi Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 I own one and I love it. I have it wired to one ohm on my Fi SSD 12. It barely gets warm and it's very efficient. Awhile ago my friend temporarily had a hifonics brz 1200 wired to one ohm on his two SA-12's and his headlights would almost disappear even while driving. With my Q1 1200 I have some dimming not not even close to the amount that he had. If your looking for a solid amp for the price I would go ahead and buy it. I'm sure you'll love it.

It seems off to me because the rated watts and input voltages don't line up. Ie.. the aq2200 does 2200 @ 1ohm and 14.4, the M2b is the closest DD amp to that and it does 1700 @ 12v and 2400 @ 14.4 at 1 ohm. Plus the cases while both are black are not the same. And the layout of the rcas, gains and crossovers are also not the same which suggests they are probably built on different boards as well.
