The fact that I get somewhat of a statement every month and the amounts are never static is pretty much a dead giveaway IMO. Does anyone else have a hard time getting the right amount? It seems like every month I get a different total. None of which equals out to what my housing allowance is supposed to be or even comes close to the GI bill kicker payments I'm supposed to receive? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm going to call tomorrow but as it stands now it looks like I've been shorted a pretty good pile of money. I'd just like to know that I'm getting the same amount every month. so far its swinging pretty wide in each direction. OrionStang Posted June 23, 2013 Report Share Posted June 23, 2013 Are you using the old Bill, or the post 9/11 Bill? I am on the Post 9/11 program and lately, I have been getting partial payments. Ill get xx amount on the first then another payment a week later, and they dont add up to the monthly payment I am supposed to get. When I contact them, they blame the school reporting paractices, when I call the school, they blame the VA. Its a losing battle, just take what they give you, as all you'll get (I am anyway) is the runaround from both parties. All that said, I end up short less than a couple hundred a month, but over 36 months of benefits, it adds up. Cant complain much, as they are paying a hefty tuition for me. My school reports exactly as they are supposed to every month because I'm distance learning. I will go to fucking war over the amount they should owe me. Lets just say its what would get my truck painted this summer its that much. when im on the rolls as a full term student getting 350 bucks for housing or less theres an issue. Just be sure you know exactly what you are supposed to be getting each month EXACTLY, as well as how much monthly you have been receiving, so you can give them numbers.
