hey everyone. I have a dual 15 inch woofer box to build and I need some advice. Ported or sealed.

max dimensions are 43 wide. 17 high. 24 deep between 30 34 hrz

they are alpine type S drivers. on 650 watts rms

also should i buy a prime series rockford r1200. Or an audioque aq 1200

Build's consist of:

2004 Chevy Impala :

Pioneer--------------------- DEH-X8600bs Soundqubed/AQ------ Q4-120

Rockford Fosgate---- Punch-500.4

Soundqubed/AQ----- Q1-3500D.1 Alpine----------------- 6.5's & 6x9's

Subs: TBA All Knukonceptz and SHCA wire and rca's

Home Music Setup

(4) Soundqubed HDS200 15's in two separate 15.5 cubic foot enclosures tuned to 31 hrz --- XM radio hardwire

Updates coming all the time on both builds

Went through the pdf manual for those Type S subs, says vented optimal is about 2.5 ft^3 a piece so you should have enough space for a ported box that should sound real nice. What sort of vehicle and what are your tuning goals?

As for the amps, I've heard good things about both so the only thing there would be personal preference/how much you want to dish out. Read reviews about both first then make an educated decision :)

It's is a 2004 impala. i dont really need any trunk space when its all said and done, but I kinda solidified that when i went with 15s. and in the amp question I meant more in terms of longevity. which will last longer
