I would do two

On a

Which gives you a total of like $700 something. More than enough to upgrade your battery and big 3, headunit, and front stage if need be. Also for materials and a good design. And those subs are underrated and would be underpowered as is until you upgrade the electrical for the SQ 2200

A lot of good info here but I'd just like to add this....

Most of the really great innovations in every day driver type automobile performance come from the racing industry. And most of those racing innovations, when they're new, are looked upon as completely insane for every day drivers, until someone tailors them to fit the application.

The same is true in audio. If there were no SPL competitions, subwoofer technology would still be what it was fifty years ago... along with amp technology. And most sound quality innovations come from the hifi geeks who spend 25 grand on record players. You and I may think it's absurd to spend 25 grand on a record player but I'm damn glad there are guys who do because it provides the industry with R&D money manufacturers can use to invent new technologies that benefit you and I.

So next time someone makes a retarded remark like that, remind them of where innovation comes from. And then, don't listen to anything they have to say after that. ;-)

You have to decide whether you want SPL bass or soft, tight bass reinforcement (SQ). If you're a basshead, you want the stuff those idiots told you not to buy. If not, stick with the other brands. It's all about preference and once you know what your preference is, buy what fits it and makes you happy and to hell with anyone who doesn't like it.

I asked them about Crescendo amps and "Very good amp, but very power hungry." True. So what they say is true for the most part but not entirely true. They're lying about why or how things are how they are so you go there and give them your business.

Power hungry? I don't think that term applies, or there's a misunderstanding of the term

I don't think we can say all of them are lying. If you learn from a closed minded person, you'll be closed minded as well so a lot of these salesmen who get hired on at a shit shop learn all the wrong things about car audio and then go on to repeat them as if they were truth.

And let's face it... that happens in a lot more areas than just mobile electronics. In the end, it's best to do your own due diligence and keep an open mind about things. Being closed minded is one of the worst things a person can do to himself.

But yeah Crescendo amps are power hungry. And Dragsters get shitty gas mileage. Go figure... ;-)
