rockFord_Expedition
Got my order in and it looks awesome, thanks a ton. Where can I find instructions on how to apply them? I'm sure I could just go at it and figure it out but these things are works of art and I don't want the installation to take away from how good they look. I'm sure I could just go at it and figure it out but these things are works of art and I don't want the installation to take away from how good they look. First things first, clean the surfaces thoroughly and dry with lint free cloth. Now theres the dry method, basically setting the decal where you prefer. Use a little tape as a hinge at the top, flip it up peel and lay it on taunt (even pressure) and squeegee out the air bubbles. Or there's wet, I've seen mild dish soap and water or foaming cleaner and doing the same as the dry method but you can move it around before it starts to grab. Then squeegeeing the air and moisture out. They may have better instructions and methods but that's the 2 ways I've done mine. I did require another person for the cng banner though. The wet method seems a little more forgiving. Could I just owe a bondo spreader as my squeegee? Carbon
Just read the last few comments. Michael is correct with his explanation of the application methods. I personally usually do dry 90% of the time. Even on banners. With the banners I use 3 anchor points. one on each side and one in the center doing half at a time. For small decals I never worry about it.
