I over-killed my ground to it because I have it wired straight back to the battery and I left my cables a little lengthy in case I needed to move things around in the future.

As far as Kyle backing me up all I was talking about was the Rockford subs, don't know much about them, but love their amps, but was saying I wouldn't be willing to spend that much on a 700wrms sub, that was all.

Subs getting really hot? Your clipping, I know the shop set my gains they are pro. No they are not. Ask them how they set the gains, if they say buy ear then go buy a DD-1
