Hey fucker, you never texted me back! Glad to see that shit is ordered now, in for results

I was thinking about that earlier. .. went to text ya... and I had no service. well I just got services back after paying my bill so I'll text you when I get up.

yeah bro I'm pretty stoked to get this thing in the mail and get it installed. I'm thinking of making a weekend of it and finishing the box and stuff... primer and black paint... and that purple I have... something simple but it should look decent. gonna try and pull the back of the seat out too though from what I'm hearing that's the hardest part of the seat to pull lol.

but any who... I'm kinda like I bet this is gonna be a beast.... long ass port for sure its gonna bang dude...

the only problem I have dude is the port..

thst thing is literally going to be hitting the back of my front seats lol... so utilizing the back of the back seat for anything but an amp rack is none lol...

ok well i set out today to do two things.... get my port installed or at least the hole cut.... and the primer done.... didn't really get to the primer lol...

first i did this kind of an in car mock up to make sure everything will go properly.

20130823_172905_zpsf6e25de7.jpg

did some initial measuring.

20130823_173322_zps7f2d666c.jpg

just for shits and giggles heres my compas set fifteen bucks at staples... makes circles upto 15 inches fucking awesome deal seems rigid as fuck too

20130823_165123_zps53593134.jpg

tore it out of the car and pulled the subs.... the terminals ( i plan to do away with them) the terminals come loose everyonce in a while and kill my sound so im doing away with them sons a bitches. but any who I did some more measuring and whipped out my handy dandy pro quality compas and drew my circle for the cut. (8.25-8.40) inches for the hole... just incase you guys plan on getting one.

20130823_194230_zps87be0af7.jpg

then i pulled out the jig saw and went to town... kind of a pretty hole isn't it?

20130823_200102_zps5fa69b5b.jpg

the hole was a pubic hair too small so i took some sandpaper to it to get the hole sized right and she just went right in like a dream... so pretty...

20130823_203003_zpseaac8875.jpg

here is the finally installed deal. from the inside... I'm not sure if i really want it this way may make the port internal... may also flip the subs.... not sure...

20130823_204705_zps2a5310b4.jpg

if i leave it like this I will be puting forty fives in i have them drawn up already to cover up the old terminal holes from the inside... the outside will remain holy. if i move it internal I'll just put a piece of MDF over the holes on the outside and it will still look dirty.

now i'm not sure what tuning i want... i'm going to start at 35.... and move on up in 5 hert increments till I'm happy with it so if i go internaly i won't be able to seal the port inside ill need some what easy access to change tube lengths. which I'm going to mark in advance for cut placement.

Either internal or not I am going to be install a baffle between the subs and the port itll be about a third of the width of the box or a little bigger that the port so the subs stay loaded and i don't have to worry about that shit.

I'll have more pics tomorrow. I got everything sanded today so I'll be priming and painting through out. after i get my wood working done and everything figured out. I'm stoked to hear this mofo already man jesus...

And what pisses me off is everytime i tear down to do something the kid across the street decides to demo his stuff... next time i see him im going to offer to build and sell him a box.... after my shit is back together LMNO! prefab is wack.... Even for BOSS gear lol
