cooyats? Copycats lol. Anyone can use a square sub or make one. Then everybody should be called copycats for copying the circle subwoofer design.

mtx

kicker

Your right. But anybody can do anything. Square subs have more cone area. Moves more air. Companies why not try it you know? Someone copied the design to have a circle sub so everyone should be called copy cats

I've actually used 2 of those pyle square red label subs! They only cost like $30 bucks! I think they are rated at like 1400 peak and even with like 225 watts rms at each one they were starting to smell. They pounded really hard though, but for someone on a $200 sub/box/amp/wiring kit budget they work out well! Anyone else hear them before?

I wouldn't mind hearing the mtx's but to me kickers had them longer and I'd imagine if kicker has problems with the reliability of them imagine the other companies!

I agree loganberry. I dont know square subs are starting to come on to me some. I really like the L7's wouldent mind 2 12" L7's off of a 2500.1 and imageing 2 18" Solo X's off a WarHorse? Im starting to get fond of square subs and ive always hated them. Would love to see a 4" Voice Coil on the Solo X 18"

yea the solo x have a HUGE name to live up to, and imo they have yet to do that, the sub is bigger and better they claim....yes its bigger, but by no means is it to where it should be

Yeah those mtx's are nice but I'd rather have a kicker by far. Like I said if kicker has problems imagine what people just starting the square subs off would be. Kicker ftw...
