i need bass Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 What are some good budget 4 channel amps for mid's& tweeters? Also what are some good budget components speakers? Not trying to win any competitions, but would like to be heard while driving by! Thanks!
john253a Posted July 9, 2013 Report Posted July 9, 2013 how tight is the budget? when looking for a good 4ch for comps you want at least 75rms @4ohm (some cheaper comps are only 50-60rms but to run on 75 is ok) on a tight budget this is the lowest in quality i would use or recommend (and i do use this 1 quite oftener) http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67852_MB-Quart-OA600.4.html if im using a slightly better set of comes that can take higher power http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67853_MB-Quart-OA800.4.html ive never needed anymore power then that on a tight budget if your looking for a 5ch for a nice simple little system http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67855_MB-Quart-OA1100.5.html is a nicy amp at a good price as far as comps i dont think too much of the set that only cross the highs and not the mids, so most of the suff will be over 100 but in the sub 150 mark http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_61209_Rockford-Fosgate-POWER-T165-S.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_33014_MB-Quart-PVL-216.html
KMS Posted July 9, 2013 Report Posted July 9, 2013 Oh wow, That 5 channel looks really good. I'd definitely jump on that if I had nothing and needed to start somewhere. As for mids and highs My personal favorite http://www.amazon.com/Morel-Maximo-inch-component-system/dp/B0035FZJEO Though, flush mounting isn't flush, but extrudes out some because of the way the mount is shaped. If you have grills that go over the tweeter location then it won't matter. If you're mounting them in a pillar, or a spot out in the open then it's not going to look nice. Skullz Posted July 9, 2013 Report Posted July 9, 2013 Best performance in this price range and they'll take power like no other. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12260_JBL-P660C.html If your going to go you may as well go big, those comps will take this like a champ. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34753_Rockford-Fosgate-T1000-4AD.html 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
