srool Posted July 11, 2013 Author Report Posted July 11, 2013 Also- my current alt is a joke- 75A. the biggest I cap push into my car is 200A. I might replace the car in several months therefore I'm not rush to replace anything that won't continue with me to the next car.

Besides a increase in score, your ready to see smoke IMHO. So you wouldn't play your gear at 12v? I don't see a problem with 12v to be honest. I always stayed anywhere from low 12s to low 13s while demoing, depending on the song. Driving I'd stay in mid to high 13's, if he is dropping below 12v while driving, then yeah I'd be worried. And to the OP, yes a H/O alt will benefit a lot in any case really. purplesyrup Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 Huge fucking difference. I'd compare it to sounding like you added another amp. For a car stereo exceeding 1500 watts id say its the number one upgrade to do first. and when you install that you do the big 3 while its all taken apart.
