im looking into getting 2 18" fiQs what is the BP Power option for $40 i dont know what that means. and should i get the dual 1 or 2 ohm can someone help. i will be using them for daily use?

I recommend choosing an amp first, then you can pick the coils to compliment the amps ability to produce stable output. Bp is a machined aluminum plug to block the pole vent, then adding axial cooling channels and a changed spider pack. This option increases the subs thermal & mechanical ability somewhat

if you are going to use them for a daily... i would get the BP options.. it is like a daily option.. if you call Fi they can tell ya everything.. the dual 1 ohm are better... cause, you are prolly gonna want to run them at 1 ohm..

if you are going to get 1 amp to power both subs.. i would get a 2000.1 mono block..

bp power option is prettymuch a wasteof money if your running RMS on these subs. theres no real reason for it. your not going to over heat them and your not goingto get better sound out ofthem either so save the 80 bucks and put it towardsa better 2k rms amp then the hifonics.

i think im going to buy a good amp first. i just dont know where to start (brand wise)

you can get MD3's pretty chap nowadays, as well as the new audioque amp will be under 400 for 2200rms
