Wizzy Posted July 21, 2013 Author Report Posted July 21, 2013 try changing the amp Why would i change the amp? That amp is quite good. Its also made in italy not china. So why should i change it? I even tryed it on my 4 12" @ 0.5 and didnt protect or something.
Joe X Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 Definitely a larger box 3.7-4 cubes net, your sub displacement is 0.12 cubes per sub so 0.24 total, 52-55 square inches of port area. There are some exceptions but normally: No subs up in trunk cars, that's great for hatchbacks and other vehicles. Blowthrough ports basically good for bandpass boxes but not really for ported. You can do either port driver's side or in the middle which I like best: You can work out your dimensions with the calculator, if you would like me to help some more post your max dims for a box and the music that will mainly e played.

Max dimensions would be 38" wide 15" tall and 19" deep. Trunk is much larger but i cant make a bigger box because it wont fit thru the trunk opening. Favorite music is decaf's, r&b, hip hop, dnd, dubstep clubbing. Witch would sound better? Separate chambers like this or 1 single chamber? Thanks Joe.
Wizzy Posted July 22, 2013 Author Report Posted July 22, 2013 I have played a little with torres and came up with this: What do you guys think?

Wizzy Posted July 23, 2013 Author Report Posted July 23, 2013 Many thanks I will build this box today Hope it will sound wayy better then the other one.
slowfkncar Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 Nothing should make your subs move uncontrollably unless your playing below enclosure tune or a bad amp. I had this sundown saz2500 go bad on me once and it was less then 5 months old, my sub would just go crazy at a certain level and I blamed it on my enclosure(remade it),sub(reconed it),rca wires and the problem never went away untill i bought a new amp!
