Shigshwa Posted July 20, 2013 Report Posted July 20, 2013 Currently, I've got an SP4 15 powered by a DC 3.5k, and under the hood I have a Mechman 270 with a YellowTop. It's a daily car, 12v system, and I only play it full tilt when the car is on and revved. Do I need a battery as large as a D3400 as a secondary battery? Or will a smaller battery like a D975 work? My goal is to reduce voltage drop. Currently, it drops to about 11.8V on max volume. Quote

Raptorman Posted July 20, 2013 Report Posted July 20, 2013 You definitely need more batt reserve for that amp. I'd go for a Group 31 to be honest. 1 Quote 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid.
