My box is typically tuned in the high 20s (adjustable tuning) and will play from 25-26 up to 63-65. Some people with low tuned boxes can't play that high. Higher tuning can create a peak at the higher tuning frequency, but that is NOT the same thing as the port limiting the upper frequency range. Think about a home speaker - my cabinets are tuned to 30 and play up to 1.8 kHz. Not sure where tuning limits the upper frequency response started. . . Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.
