I ordered one the minute it was available on the Play Store, and got it today.

If you don't have Netflix built into your TV, this is a great product. I've been watching Netflix all afternoon. Streaming in HD (I think it only supports 720p at the moment) without any buffering hiccups.

Well in that case, I've been streaming for the past few days in 1080p with no buffering hiccups. :P

The idea behind Google's products as of right now seems to not really be to replace anything or be a real additional item in the household but to show what can be done for little to no cost for the consumer... Chromebooks, $200, Chromecast $35, cloud storage $5 a month ... knowing you can do what most others spend their time doing on a $1000 computer... PRICELESS!!!

I have PC's on all my TV's, and Windows Media Center has Netflix already. It is a cool concept though.

last time I typed, I specifically stated "most" ... you freak!!! we all know the techies don't need these items, they just want them ... lol .... but yea, for the majority of computer users, browsing the internet never required a quad core/multi core processor.. or even using office... lol

Lol I'm just messing with ya :P

I only bought it to have another gadget. I'm using it surprisingly more than I thought I would. I love using my phone as a "remote" for Netflix now.
