Amart88 Posted July 28, 2013 Report Posted July 28, 2013 Been having a problem the last few days where my blazers tailgate is sticking shut. If the hatch is open I try to use the handle on the inside but it only pulls up half way and feels stuck. The thing wont open. If it try and shut the hatch, it hits on something and wont latch if the tailgate sis stuck. Starting to irritate me. Usually the key would work for sure but now the key stopped too. It's fine ATM but is totally random. Any ideas or advice? If it jams too bad I have no way to open it from the inside becaus eof the wall so I would have to go to drastic measures :S My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.

CHEVY4X4BLAZER Posted July 28, 2013 Report Posted July 28, 2013 Make sure that the hatch reciever is in the OPEN position. You said you can't close the glass right? Sometimes they somehow close without the glass striker hitting it. And if its closed, then the inside handle is designes not to open if the glass is down.
