That1Kid
Rebuilding my wall starting this weekend. Could use some advice. Running 4 m2 Level 3 18s on a BC5500d. How many cubes should I aim for? And how much port area? I've had people recommend up to 30 cubes...but that seems like too much.. Or would I be better off building a 4th? My current wall peaked at 51Hz...the baffle is an inch or so behind the b-pillar...would building the new wall further back result in a lower peak frequency? In theory, I mean. My only goal is to play violent lows and move as much air as possible. thanks -98' Ford Expedition (Rest in Peace) -AVH-P3300BT -Crescendo BC5500 -4 18" DC m2 Level 3. zydrix
Personally, I'd go with a 4th if u can fit it, but that's just me. But 30 cubes ported does seem a bit much, I think DC subs like small enclorsures. I'd shoot for around 24-26 cubes after displacement an port.
