Singer 275A Alternator
Optima Red Top under hood

i want to upgrade to 4-5k substage and 1-2k speaker stage, will 3 pos and 3 neg runs of CCA to 2 batteries in the trunk be good for 7k rms?

or should i really be getting OFC.

OFC is the better wire, for your need´s is what you plan on wire (with CCA) OK. If you want only 2 batt´s in the trunk get the biggest you can

get.

so 3 runs cca is good for 8k rms if needed (although i wont go that high)

Might as well do 8 total runs of CCA since it costs as much as doing 4 total runs of OFC.

Either way, unless I missed something, your Alternator probably won't support a true 7k continuously

3 runs of 2/0 CCA would be a better choice than 1/0 CCA. but at that price you could just get 1/0 ofc.
