Whenever i play lower notes such as the low one in put on or rack city etc, i hear what sounds like the sub making a thud sound? It doesnt sound like bottoming out or port noise but im not sure if its something to worry about..any ideas? It's a sa single 12 ported 33 hz ss on 32ish i believe?

it could be bottoming out. but also the low notes are what cause lot of flex so you could be flexing or rattling something in your car. also do you have your box secured in some way because sometimes the flex of a sub can actually make a box jump or hop around. you could have also torn a spider. I would take the sub out of the box and see if it makes the sound out of the box. if not, you can narrow it down from there. but don't give it too much power out of the box because you can damage the sub that way.

Could also be clipping

Take a peak and see how much the sub is moving

Box specs?

Well if anything they are broken in by now, and nothing is torn. Box is secured with L brackets to the frame so its not moving but when it does play lower notes the actual box flexes bad..maybe just a bad designed box? Also it's 33 hz @ 1.8 -2 cube i think

box flex is no good, get that thing braced up. I used threaded rod in all my boxes
