The little shelf thing you have on top/front of the box may impede with allowing you to mount the woofer. It looks like 6" deep at that point, I don't think that is enough depth for the basket and motor of the sub to clear. Edit- I'm sorry, I just noticed its written as 1-3". Nishinga Posted August 8, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 8, 2013 *just re-read your post its not 1-3", its 3" i think what you see as 1-3, is actually the dimension lines and then 3" Where the sub is going to be mounted is 24 inches tall and then reduces down to 18 tall. According to Fis specs the ID (inner dimension?) is 16.75 The reasoning behind the front section is that reason because the sub tappers towards the back so im guessing that the 3 inches will be long enough for the sub to taper down that .25 inches to fit into the rear section of the box.
