walwalka
I've learned a lot from this place, about what's good and what is not so good. How to properly wire an amplifier and how to set the gains on it. Still need to buy a DD-1, that will come soon though. This place has helped me a lot, couple of members stand out too. 2010 Honda Civic LX / Deck: Kenwood DDX371 / Front Highs: Crescendo RTS-1 / Front Mids: Silver Flute 6.5's / 4 channel: DC Audio 90.4 / Sub: Fi 15in SP4v2 / Sub amp: Taramps HD 5000 / Power wire: Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 / Deadener: Audio Technix 60 mil / Batteries: XS Power D5100R / Rear bank: TBD / Alternator: Singer 240a hairpin
TNichy
I searched out this website after watching a youtube video, like many others. I have learn tons. I used to be one of those guys who thought sealed boxes were the only way to go. Now I am a believer in ports. I am working very hard to be more open and let some of my creativity out. I've learned that there are many factors (little ones, to some people) that make very large differences in the output of enclosures. I've also learned that the enclosure is a very important part of your setup. You can make entry level subs sound good in a properly built box. Smoove
It helped me learn about life beyond RF and Alpine cause thats all I ran back in the day. I was pretty much out of car audio except for basic upgrades from about 96 - 2008. When I joined this forum I had no idea about Fi, Sundown, and DC. I have definately learned a lot on here. 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/
