sbg Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 So I just got 2 pairs of alpine 6.5 component speakers, that will be going in to my front doors of my explorer. 1 pair per door. I have the factory JBL amp in my tuck. Wanted to know if I am better off just runing them off my HU power intell I amp them up. Or if I should run them on the factory amp. I have no clue what the factory puts out for power but i don't think it's much. My HU is JVC kds27 -- and is 20w rms x4 01 focus se 110 amp alt Big 3 sky high and stinger hpm ofc 1/0 Super start platinum AGM (starting) 2 runs of 1/0 Execution audio front to back Kenwood double DIN DDx271 A pillars- orion 4" super tweeter and 2-1" alpines. bcbrassard Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 Until you amp them up! I tell is a computer processor! Whatever is easiest to wire or jump save up for an amp and do it all at once.

I did end up puting them in useing HU power for now.
