3000 Watts for $300 - To Good to be true? BB5000D AD-1 Results

Weak doesn't even do 2k and rated at 3k, you could put 16 volts to that amp and it won't do 3k.

$300 is a good price for 1700 rms? lol
I can find an aq 2200 for that price, or hell, buy a Hifonics 2400 for less than that, and have it still do more close to rated than that POS Belva.

Seems you are the only one butt hurt here. This isnt about what is good for the money, this is about facts. The fact here is that this amp failed the honey badger. Why should I buy and amp that is "rated" for 3000w but does less than 2000w? That is not a sound investment in my mind.

My favorite part of this thread is the OP saying,"If you can find ANOTHER amp that does 3K at $299 or less, I'd be happy to see it"

UMMM, let's START with an amp for comparison, cause this one sure as hell doesn't do it either. At least it has yet to be proven. It hasn't even squeaked out 2/3 of its claimed "RMS" number.

I believe, for me anyway, this one will be filed in the SBL category. Struck By Lightning file cabinet is going to start getting AWFULLY full with the AD-1 on a ball busting mission.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Should say find another amp that does 1700w for $300 or less.

Which can realistically be found all day. No one is reinventing the wheel here. A reliable product that puts out a certain amount of power, costs a certain amount of money to produce, market(if applicable), and sell. There are no magic workarounds for this scenario. If, which is a BIG if, this amp did 3K, how long would it do it for?

On a side note, trusting Mazda1234567 is your first mistake OP, dude's an asshat and I would not trust him to wire a ceiling fan.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Too bad a aq2200 is at a $429 price point. As a previous member posted, dealer pricing doesn't apply. It doesn't matter what you can find an amp for. Also, have you AD-1'd a hifonics? Would you like to send me one to back up your statement?
