What would be the maximum amount of watts rms that I could push on 1 alternator? Your opinions?

Alternators are for charging, the batteries are your power source. Each kinetic 2400 is rated for- get this- 2400 watts.

So 6 kinetics will support 14,400 watts. (6 x 2400)

I was about to write a reply but Kyle covered it....over the last few months I have been enlightened by some of the smartest people in the world when it comes to alternators.....Its really sickening to know what some of these companies are doing to market their "new" products when all they do is pick up a $40 alt. from the junk yard, clean the internals and throw a new case with some paint on it. As kyle said there is a huge difference in quality and you pay for quality products with NEW OEM internals direct from Denso and Valeo.

You didn't come off as an asshat, this was just in general that I was talking.. People just don't understand that there really is a difference.

To run a 7k amp with 160 idle current, requires 10 batts, group 31, doesn't matter the brand.

Now if you plan on demoing at 2k rpm, which is what alot of single alt people do, 6 batts will work.
