I think that the screen would be a weird size but whatever. Not just you lost anything keeping it. If you know how to use a Mac or learn how to use it, even without a touch screen you will never need a mouse just the BT keyboard. But I suggest going with a touch screen as you will be driving and want to change stuff sometimes. As far as the rest of the stuff to install it in a car I have no idea that is a little beyond me.
