What kind of amp should i get?

If you go with the dual 2 Ohm model, you need a amp that does 500+ on 2 Ohm.

I agree with you, those are some pretty good starter subs. And the amp is the best for the cash IMHO.

if you are getting two, make sure they are D4's. And get a 500 watt amp.

I have seen and heard this same woofers on a Rockford Fosgate 400w mono amp

And they sounded very nice at all levels

Yet they links they gave you about the sundown audio subs seems like a better and an other good option for you bro ((:
