MD7786 Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 I've had 2 yellow tops pushing my jl 1000/1 for a year and haven't had to charge once. They stay around 13.9 while bumping. And DO NOT BUY A CAPACITOR. They are a waste of money. I spent $100 on one and now its a paperweight. Big 3 and dual batts. Maybe down the road a h/o alt.

Dollar for dollar I think OP would get more out of some batteries than some caps, but they are far from useless. standardcabspl Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 Capacitors have their place and uses in car audio, but I agree with snow on this one a couple batteries ill be far better in his unique situation. and don't forget the big 3, it will help in more efficiency for the stock electrical system. also if you don't want to go xs power their are other good brand. Corey Hines Posted August 28, 2013 Author Report Posted August 28, 2013 ok I ended up getting a kinetic battery for the trunk..for now. got the khc 1400. it will be here tomorrow and then I can finally get this thing bumpin again. I really appreciate the help guys. no one around me sells xs batteries so I went with what was local I want get this done. haha once its broke in I may take some vids and post up here if anyone is interested. btw going in a 2012 forte koup sx
