frenziedcage Posted August 28, 2013 Report Share Posted August 28, 2013 I've been looking at several amps as of late I was going to go with hifonics zrx1800.1 then I got to looking around at other amps such as hifonics brz1700.1 my ultimate goal is to get a quality amp on a budget that is not going to heat up and does rated power. I am going to get a better amp down the road when I get more cash saved. I've also heard of audiopipe I'm kinda skeptical about audiopipe are they any good? Whatever amp I get will be powering a psi platform 2 18" sub. Any other recommend budget amps that will do me good til I get enough cash saved for a better amp? N9neMillahhh Posted August 28, 2013 Report Share Posted August 28, 2013 oh and amps only do rated power if they have the electrical to support it....i currently have a BRX2000 and i had a BRZ2400 before but since my alternator is going to shit i only get about 3/4 the available wattage. but with my BRZ2400 i was pushin a clean 2500 @ 1 ohm, with a healthy electrical. so hifonics is a good brand, but i'd look into the Quantum ones too.
