Krakin
I simply meant that there are no 4th, 6th or any order subs out there. There are ported and sealed spec'ed subs, either they have an extra stiff suspension for sealed applications or suspensions tuned for porting. Well doesn't that goes for 4th's and 6th's? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . Skullz
Not 100% sure as the ported chamber also has resistance to it unlike a ported enclosure. The sealed spec subs are extra stiff cause the sealed chamber acts like a trampoline trying to throw the cone out of the basket. N9neMillahhh
You can't tell me that you can't easily tell what subs would work better/best in any order. Cause we all know that all the X and Zv3/4s are nuts in a 4th order. You know that some subs are way better in one than others, and that's all you need to know to know what will work. Krakin
three words.... Efficiency Bandwidth Product whatever the fuck that is... That is one of the reasons the X will work good in a 4th. N9neMillahhh
so there are ways to tell then, just like i said? i mean i didnt even know what that was but you can still tell in other ways. i know someone wanted to see a Zv4 10 in a T-Line 4th order, the only problem is that i dont have the room otherwise i fuckin would. but i know there are multiple ways. and that just shows that any of the subs you're working with will be great in a 4th order Quote 02 Lexus IS300 (2JZ FTW) Mids/Highs: JL Audio C5 6.5s all around Mids/Highs Amp: JL Audio HD 600/4 Subs: four SA-8v2s in 3.8cubes @ 32hz Sub Amps: SAZ3k Battery: Huge Interstate Batteries relocated to trunk About 80ft. of 1/0 OFC....
