focalrock4life Posted November 17, 2006 Report Share Posted November 17, 2006 ok so here it is..the build up of my enclosure.. some specs: 7.017 cubic feet NET tuned to 28 HZ 112Sq inches of port 1 18" Loaded BTL now onto the PICS: ok so this is after i just got back from home depot Now onto the cutting BEFORE: AFTER: Next to cut was teh 4 6 inch ports black ports its finally starting to come together now were gonna jump way ahead in time because i forgot my camera..lol FINISHED PRODUCT!: Internal shots: ok thats all she wrote! this bitch is sealed to the max and its solid as hell probably weighs 100-150 lbs. not bad for my first build EVER...im actually really happy with how solid it turned out...next week i take it to the upholstry shop for some tweed! P.S. all that stuff on teh outside if wood putty..i used it to make the outside seemless and I also rounded ALL the edges tell me what you think!! geekepunk Posted November 18, 2006 Report Share Posted November 18, 2006 For glassing, buy some of the thicker mat online or at an automotive related body shop. You can get away with using the stuff you can find at wal-mart or parts stores but it will take longer to accumulate a thick layer. As for resin, I've had good results with the cheap stuff you can buy everywhere, or you can usually find some of the better brands at an auto body supply shop.
