kandiman71874 Posted September 2, 2013 Report Posted September 2, 2013 Anyone with a brain is not going to play their system hard with the car off as it is so an isolator is pretty pointless. Not only that but when it screws up (which does happen) the amp will be starved for power after having drained the battery from not being charged and could risk smoking the amp from low voltage surges. Its funny how a 300 amp isolator is being suggested but yet 99% of the systems you will see anywhere do not run any kind of isolator or surge relay as you call it. Why do you think that is?
