Then from there, it goes into a 20 foot RCA cable and would connect to my adapter in the picture, then go to the amps. My BIG question is, WILL this work good? I've hooked it up on one of my bass amps and one channel on the mids and highs and it worked good, what would make this not work if It was perm. I was also thinking I could use the CC-1 to set the frequencies on the amps so I don't need a crossover, right? I don't want my subs to play anything above 125hz, and my mids and highs will play anything above 125hz. Does that sound good? soffhands Posted September 8, 2013 Report Share Posted September 8, 2013 i would run the ipad into a preamp or a electronic crossover that way your not using a spliter i dont know what the voltage out of a ipad is i am guessing its low compared to a deck spliting them would lower the rca voltage even more . look for a preamp eq with built in crossover or a electronic crossover one or more sets of rca coming in and 2 or more sets of rca coming out to your amps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As meade does and shows in the video, the iPad puts out about .9 volts, but he's doing just what I want to do, and he says it's okay.
