jandsaudio Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 Question for a friend at work Setup: Type R 10 dual 4 ohm sub. Just one. Kicker zx 750.1 amp. Believe parallel. And a 5 farrad cap. All 4 gauge wire. Gets a thumping noise when changing songs, saying its a 'reverb' type deal. Anybody have any suggestions?

masterbusa2 Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 At a guess it only does this when changing songs, and sources? I had this same problem on my Power acoustik radio ended up being rca grounding issue inside radio/amp, A good very simple trick to try is Strip you some speaker wire and wrap it around multiple times around each rca terminal making sure not to get it in the hole! (lol) then groudn it to the radio chassis and do teh same for the amp, worked for me! always worth a try considering it costs nothing lol
