Why Am I Not Getting Full Potential

Recommended Posts

when i have the bass on 0 and the sub on +10-11 i can only go up to about volume 22 before my headunit shuts off (which is PLENTY loud)....but if i turn the highs off and have only the subs playing then i can probably turn it up to volume 30 (out of 35)....im sure its because my highs are just running off the headunit, but im too broke to do anything about it....but i havent tried turning the bass down past 0 yet, i may try that...

i likes me some audio stuff...

well if it is like they said, then the voltage going to my amp is mad ass low and will therefore never get that full 1400 watts.....Trust me, when I raised it only to +6 it got WAY louder

Your never gonna get 1400 watts regardless of what you do....to many factors

Yehh it may seem louder, and also be doin damage to it

Well no offense to you or anything but if the sub+ does control the voltage to the amp, I can get that 1400....

My amps are rated up to 1500 each, I just chose lower to prevent clipping....
