Mustang06331 Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 I have a system that consist of a t15001bdcp A t400-4 Soundstream ref 800.4 and a ref 4.760 Do you think a s series 320 amp w 2 XS D3400's will handle the load?? I ordered the elite only to find out a week later that the cases were on back order and the supplier has not even contacted mechman to give them any clue as to when they would be avail . They told me that the s series was case was also back ordered but they would have them in aprox 2 weeks. Any help or info would Be greatly appreciated . When I originally called these guys they told me with out a doubt the elite 370 was the unit I needed but are now saying we can get you a 320 in 2 weeks . Where these guys selling more then I needed or ???? On the plus the s series will save me 325 bucks but doesn't start making power till 900 RPM. Let me know what you think .

Mustang06331 Posted September 19, 2013 Author Report Posted September 19, 2013 If you meant speakers I have 29 speakers total 2 of which are P3d2-12's the rest are 2 sets of soundstream STL 65c , 1set fosgate T -2652-s set of t-142 set of Cadence CVL88 8's 2 sets of CDT Eu-4 1 set CDT EU-6 1 set CDT WS-100 w upstage kit 1 set cadence CVL69 1 set fosgate t-1s so yes only 2 woofers and like 27 speakers

At what RPM does your car idle at? How about cruise RPM? Do you need it to make full power under 900rpm? With your setup, I'd say you can use a 200A alternator and still be doing great. What year, make, model, and engine size is your car? Car is 99 z24 2.4 l would like to see the 200 amp at IDle as the elite boast . Maybe I need it maybe I don't but it's what I was sold and what I paid for . Back when I got started in stereos we were putting rane stage equipment that was converted to 12 v w balance line drivers and all sorts of stuff . I've been off the scene for about 20 years and it amazes me the tech that is out there and how cheap the equipment is . Fosgate and soundstream always treated me good back then so that's what I went w in this modern era. I went to Ritop in Watertown mass over 15 years ago and I can tell you w what is goin on now they were just scratching the surface . I however do have some tricks up my sleeve and would like to see how they pan out . I appreciate all the input from you guys that have been in it in the tech era . Hopefully this old dog can learn some new tricks.
