mounting speakers without screws?

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have some 6.75's to put in my door, they fit into the speaker adapter that the car speakers sat in, but I have no way to screw them down. Does anyone know how to mount speakers without screws? I would make trim rings, but I have no router or way to cut them right now.

What the f**k is an appropriate signature supposed to look like?

drill holes for the screws >? pics only other option would be like a glue or silicone

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

I'm thinking that's what I may have to do, I would use a longer screw like BoomZoom suggested, but the metal part of the door is in the way.
