Big 3 question

Ok so I have measured everything out and I'm getting ready to order the things I need to do the big 3. So my question is do I still need the fuse for the positive wire from the alternator since my car has a 150 amp fuse built into the assembly. I will post a picture for you guys to see and let me know.

I understand that you need a fuse for protection but my question is very simple do you still a seperate fuse just for the 0 AWG that I am adding even though the factory positive terminal has 150 amp fuse built into it. If I could figure out how to attach my picture from my computer I would be able to show you what I mean. It's 2013 Hyundai Sonata so you know how it is with these new cars and all there features.

yes u do if the wire was to ground out it could kill your alt or your battery

I understand that but wouldn't the 150 fuse on the post blow out

yes.but what about the wire with no fuse.

it may but that wire that is not fused will probably start a fire if the power is not stop by say a fuse. just like when u do ur runs from front to back u fuse in the front and in the back

I just figured since its being bolted down to the screw where the fuse is it wasn't necessary

By the way should I use another 150 amp fuse or go higher
