WillPwn4Food
I never was a fan of liquid cooling... Loved the shit out of my Coolermaster V10. 45 under load at most iirc. boostin302
ok.. first off, the thermal paste that comes on the corsair H100i is junk... apply some better paste... 100c is pretty toasty... highest ive ever seen my H100i get was 57c and thats on a overclocked I7 3770 as the other guy stated, if after you reapply the paste and seat it and temps done drop.. RMA that H100i.. (be sure to get all of the old thermal paste off before you apply the new stuff, they have kits to do it but i just use rubbing alchoal and a few q-tips and being very careful at it.) Awhitewookie
As thought, there was only about 40% contact between the block and CPU. I don't know how though. beaker
Also make sure the CPU fan header has thermal throttling off in the bios. Thats a good way to cook a CPU with the H series coolers.
