Krakin
that suspension looks like its sagging a bit Probably because it doesn't have a surround to help with the weight. Fix it, and then sell it. My personal opinion JL is over rated. For $40+a surround I think almost anything JL is a steal. A 13w7 is insane. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. truthsayer
This was what i was referring to. (so i went to go pick up my srt4 rims for my neon from this kid on cl right and while im there hes talking about his car showing me whats done to it pretty beastly and we get talking about audio hes like ya ive got a blown jlw7 and with out hesitation i asked if he would sell it offered him 40 bucks he hoped on it all it needs is a new surround coils are good but the dustcover was cracked so i took that off prolly just gonna get a nice 8" carbon fiber cap for it is anyone fimilar with these subs is that type of dustcap needed or will i notice any difference running a 8" carbon fiber) It just made it hard to read, and get the proper understanding that you were inferring to. Wasn't trying to dog you out or anything. Kinda of reminded me of when i had a little to much. Then i would go back and read it the next day, and be like WTF was i thinking. Lol. Its cool many people love JL, i just don't happen to be a fan of over priced products. truthsayer
