slowfkncar Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 There is a program called "Torres box calculator" for windows, it is a very usefull FREE tool for designing enclosures of all sorts,even if you just want to figure out the cut-out dimentions of your enclosure it will give it to you. Try to get familiar with it first though. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/thiele.asp. <-- go through all the definitions even if you don't understand or remember,it is a good starting point when you want to learn about woofers. You already have the sq.1200.1 aq/sq makes some solid amps,when you have the time & money you can just buy another 1200.1 and strapp them together! Because your XL is gonna ask for some power to really get moving. I did not mean to come off as an ass,most people won't reply to post that revolves around common sense but we understand you are sort of clueless and need to be pushed in the right direction. if you build it how the manufacturer recommends,it is a good starting point for your experience and you may not even have to build a new box ever again.

OP : invest $20 for a good box design or use the manufacturer recommandations. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.

Ok, no big deal dude I just thought it was kinda weird what you posted the first time, all is good though I came here to make friends and learn stuff not enemies so I'm not worried about it lol! I wouldn't want a bunch of experienced people to hate me anyway cause then nobody would answer my questions so I just keep it pretty chill on here, thanks for the link btw, I'll check it out now!
