ToNasty Posted October 9, 2013 Report Posted October 9, 2013 are you using the hpf and is the hpf set correctly? ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Tecomah Posted October 9, 2013 Report Posted October 9, 2013 they shouldn't be making low notes. they are for mids and highs. you may have hooked it up to the wrong rcas and it is hooked to the sub ones 750??! Yeah, fuck that. Fuck this website, fuck SMD, fuck Steve, fuck all of his butt buddy mods, and their couches.^ DON'T BE A DICK LIKE THIS GUY Team Subsonic Lows
truthsayer Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 If everything HPF and Lpf are all set correctly, and the 6x9's are producing sound. Sounds like the tweeters are gone, at the least the leads for tweets are burnt. Swap the rca's and see what happens. truthsayer
pioneerforlife Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 I would check your rca's and your HPF (high pass filter) and LPF (low pass filter). since you are having trouble with just the 6x9's, my guess is that you have your low pass filter set on that channel. if you check that and the Low pass filter is on, turn on the high pass filter. if the high pass filter is on, then check your RCA's. you could possibly have the sub out RCA's wired to that channel. 2007 Ford Focus SES Hatchback Pioneer HU 4 Digital Designs 9515i's in a B pillar. 2 Soundstream XXX 15K's (running at 16 volts) Soundstream Mids/Highs in custom door panels (getting rebuilt soon) Soundstream TA2.160 and TA2.400 Sky High and KNU wiring 3 Banks of Maxwell caps Winston Lithium (not a fan) Bump4Life 250 Amp Alt. aka USAlternators Soundstream Focus and Avenger Build Log Instagram @p4linnovation YouTube: Team Blowin Loud

fatbelly123 Posted October 13, 2013 Author Report Posted October 13, 2013 I tried all that stuff and no luck, although on my hu, what i have is front input and r/sw input. I figure its taking the 6x9's as subs and no rear speakers
Guest Posted October 13, 2013 Report Posted October 13, 2013 he said all channels are on Full. so xover changes wont do shit.

I figure its taking the 6x9's as subs and no rear speakers this is a possibility. kenwoods with 2 sets of preouts have the R/SW, SW by default i think. change it up and see if it makes a difference. easy way to check is to see if in the EQ section there is a SW level setting that goes from 0 to +15. if there is, then you gotta switch the R/SW to R.
